About
DIY for Change is an independent project that turns winning digital campaigns into playbooks anyone can apply.
Why
The campaigns that win today are built where people are: on their phones, in channels, groups and short videos, connected to the street. The methods exist, but they're scattered across news reports, books and social media threads. This site brings them together, checks them and makes them practical.
The name
The address janonismo.com comes from Janonismo cultural (2023), the book in which André Janones named his method. The site began as a tribute to that work, grew to cover other cases and became DIY for Change. It has no connection to the congressman, to any party or to any campaign.
Working method
- Every playbook starts from what the organizers themselves wrote and said: books, interviews, post-mortems, training materials.
- Every fact has an open source and a date. Fact is kept separate from interpretation, and what isn't known is said plainly.
- No inauthentic techniques are taught. Where a real case used them, they appear as a risk.
- The texts are licensed under Creative Commons BY 4.0.
